Forum: Tasty single malts

So, I attended the annual whisky fair in Linköping today with a friend.

Went there by 17:30, got home by 22:00, during which we tried the following:

1. Austermalt
2. Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15 y.o.
3. The Balvenie Port Wood 1991
4. Abelour a’bunadh
5. Jameson Redbreast 12 y.o. (came with a piece of parmesan cheese to go along with it)
6. Isle of Jura 21 y.o.
7. Isle of Jura Superstition
8. Glenmorangie 18 y.o.
9. The Macallan Fine Oak 25 y.o.

Austermalt was the worst of the lot.
Isle of Jura Superstition, Glenmorangie and the Macallan was the top three, but the Abelour a’bunadh was an interesting experience, as well as the Balvenie.

All in all, a good evening.
