Officiella utbildingar och certifieringar ar egentligen inte sa jatteintressant, vi tar hellre an outbildad "hacker" som lever for att programmera an en hogutbildad person som programmerar for att leva. Engagemang , ett brinnande intresse och sjalvklart erfarenhet (som inte nadvandigtvis maste komma fran att ha arbetat pa ett foretag) ar viktigast. Bostad, visas, arbetsstillstand och andra formaliteter fixas av arbetsgivaren. Individuell lonesattning kommer att anvandas, men for att namna nagot summa (vilket ju alltid ar intressant) sa kan man saga att lonerna borjar pa $7000/manaden skattefritt och kan darifran ga betydligt hogre + aktier i foretaget for personer med ratt kompetens. ViA Business, Technologies and Challenges in a (very small) nutshell ViAs goal is to build a worldwide prepaid/debit card payment system. Somewhat similar to the networks run by Visa/MasterCard, but we will act as both the issuer and the acquirer of the cards as well as having our own processing centers. Our target group is mainly the 80% of the world's population that currently are unbankable. We will use modern agile methods like Scrum for the development with self-organizing and -planning teams. The major part of the software development will be using C#, but C for embedded devices as well as some Java will be in the product mix. Microsoft SQL Server will be used as our major database application. Initially we will have a team of 10-15 developers located in our offices in Dubai. The network will have multiple interconnected datacenters that will process local transactions from both our own POS terminals as well as eCommerce transactions and transit non-ViA transactions to other third party networks. We are going to use standard COTS hardware in order to reduce the vendor tie-in effect that happens when using larger mainframes. Building a large scale (several thousands of transactions per second) financial transactional system has a lot of interesting challenges. Security and data integrity are of course the most important aspect of the system, but uptime/availability, scalability and a flexible and future proof architecture are also very important. #1 Sr. Architect / Designer Experience with Distributed design on large scale systems 3 years as Architect 5 years as developer using C#/C++ #2 Jr. Architect / Designer / Lead (C# developer) Team lead for the developers.
